We love the impressive 6m double volume space to the ground floor, with the study and formal living room above. The wall of glass allows uninterrupted views across the Solent, intersected by the sculptural organic form of the first and second floor terraces. From the study one can look down to the 4 car emporium – a beautiful gallery-style room, creating a car collectors dream space. The spiral staircase acts as the ‘spine’ of the house, serving all 3 floors revolving around a circular roof-light. Looking out towards the Solent one can see the progress on the wellness centre and swimming pool, a calming space away from the main residence.
This is one of our most ambitious residential designs to date, and we can’t wait to see this awesome house reach completion. DJA are delivering this house from concept to completion, and have been involved in all phases of the construction from working drawings through to interior architecture.
