Significant planning approval in Greenbelt

We are thrilled to share news of this significant planning approval for the demolition of an existing dwelling and the erection of 2 bespoke houses designed by DJA. Located in a picturesque village in a conservation area, and set within the South Bedfordshire Greenbelt, this site has a detailed planning history having been originally refused, then refused again at appeal. Our design addressed all previous concerns, with the resulting design being contemporary in nature whilst adding to and enhancing the existing varied architectural language. Materials of glass, timber, aluminium and red brick add interest and break down the perceived mass of the dwellings, creating a subtle contemporary palette.
