Concept Design for Student Accomodation

DJA have been commissioned to explore a concept design for university student accommodation and a student centre in Lancashire. The new student accommodation block will provide 300 self contained units arranged around a central courtyard, in addition to a dedicated student centre - a dynamic architectural form incorporating a wide range of facilities for the students and admin staff. David’s initial sketches are developed into a 3-D card model CGI, allowing us to explore the form and rhythm of the buildings in a 3-dimensional context.
